Thursday 19 June marks Clean Air Day, an annual event dedicated to raising awareness about the importance of clean air for our health, wellbeing, and the environment. At Spaces at The Spine. Liverpool’s premier destination for sustainable and innovative events, we proudly support this initiative by putting air quality at the heart of our venue’s design and operation.
As part of the Royal College of Physicians’ vision for healthier spaces, The Spine is one of the healthiest buildings in the UK. It is designed to meet the highest standards of environmental and human health, including the globally recognised WELL Platinum Standard, meaning that your guests attending an event at our venue benefit from exceptional indoor air quality that supports concentration, wellbeing, and productivity.
Air quality at the core of every event
In collaboration with our Property Services team, we continuously monitor air quality across Spaces at The Spine, ensuring a clean and comfortable environment for every delegate. These standards are not only beneficial for health but also align with the growing demand for sustainable and responsible venues in Liverpool.
We’re also on a journey to achieve ISO 14001 certification, the international standard for environmental management systems, by 2026. This will reinforce our commitment to minimising environmental impact and being a leader in sustainable event delivery in the city region.
