Hospital & medical filming

Located on the eleventh floor of The Spine, our medical simulation centre was designed to parallel a true-to-life hospital setting, making it an ideal medical filming location for film productions, TV dramas and photoshoots.

Two clinical assessment suites are fully-equipped to professional exam standards so they can be easily transformed into a production unit, with realistic sets and props for shooting a variety of scenes from A&E to ICU.

The centre has everything needed to create an authentic medical-themed film studio including consulting rooms, a nursing station, a patients’ waiting room and a purpose-built hospital ward. 

Our expert technical team can provide in-house support, ensuring that Floor eleven’s integrated cutting-edge audio-visual systems are utilised and adapted to individual requirements.

The space has the added benefit of adjustable walls to give it extra flexibility to accommodate filming equipment and crew, and full-height windows flood it with natural light.

Here are some of the many unique features which make Floor Eleven a tailor-made hospital and medical filming location:

• 14 assessment rooms with beds, tables and chairs in each identical clinical assessment suite, which can be used for different clinical and consultation scenarios
• A purpose-built hospital ward replicating a realistic hospital setting
• Digital signage outside each room, which can be personalised with bespoke branding
• An extensive range of on-site professional equipment is available, including ophthalmoscopes, otoscopes, breast, arm, catheter, rectal, eye, ear and CPR mannequins, blood pressure cuffs, pen torches, tuning forks, Snellen charts, stethoscopes
• Consumable medical equipment such as needles, gloves, wipes and hand gel can also be supplied

Additional meeting rooms on Floor eleven could also be used as off-camera areas for hair, make-up and costume.
