We’re proud to announce that Spaces at The Spine has recorded another successful year – breaking our annual revenue and visitor record for the second time in a row.
In 2024, we experienced a 21% increase in revenue when compared to 2023, and enjoyed an impressive 31% growth in the number of events we hosted, resulting in welcoming more than 29,500 delegates through our doors.
Since opening in 2021, we’ve provided dynamic areas for conferences, workshops and dining
Adding more accolades to our collection last year, we proudly won Business Events Venue of the Year at the Liverpool City Region Tourism Awards - a prestigious achievement that our whole team were delighted with. Alongside this, we also:
We’re continuously looking to improve our AV offering, and in 2024, we upgraded equipment in Spaces 10 and 11, enhancing our room streaming and recording capabilities with ceiling microphones and cameras. Plus, our friendly AV team enjoyed several internal promotions and two new additions to help with growing demand.
After making several additions in our adjoining wellness cafe, The Base enjoyed a 50.2% increase in sales last year when compared to 2023. From expanding its menu to include artisan salads and grab and go snacks, and offering eco-conscious initiatives such as recyclable and biodegradable packaging to hosting interactive games nights, The Base has continued to grow and become a go-to spot in the city.
This year, we’re looking to develop our medical suite, known as Floor 11. The transformative space can be used for training purposes, examinations as well as filming productions requiring a medical-themed setting.
We’re also looking to upgrade our AV technical control racks and desks, helping to reduce step-up and teardown times while enhancing functionality and flexibility.
The Spine is located in Paddington Village at the heart of the Knowledge Quarter in Liverpool’s City Centre.
