Medical simulations provide a vital opportunity for hands-on learning, allowing healthcare professionals and students to practise skills, test their knowledge and work through real-world scenarios in a controlled environment.
Every element of a space, from its layout and technology to its functionality, can play a role in supporting practical learning and reflection. Here at Spaces at The Spine, our Medical Simulation Centre is designed to provide a flexible environment where learning can be put into practice, with 14 assessment rooms with beds, tables and chairs in each clinical assessment suite, suitable for different clinical and consultation scenarios.
Technology that brings scenarios to life
Advanced integrated audio-visual capabilities allow examiners to replicate a variety of patient scenarios, while enabling them to watch, record and manage candidates throughout the assessment. This helps to simplify the assessment process, while providing valuable opportunities for observation and feedback.
Our in-house team are on hand to offer expert support for exams and assessment, as well as interviews and training sessions for education and corporate clients.
Realism that supports learning
A successful simulation should feel as close to real-world practice as possible. Floor Eleven was specifically designed to be used for multi-professional skills training, education, meetings, and to host PACE, OSCE and MRCP (UK) exams.
Our purpose-built Medical Simulation Centre mirrors a realistic hospital ward, allowing participants to apply their knowledge in a practical setting and bridge the gap between theory and clinical practice. An extensive range of on-site professional equipment is also available, including
